Primary responsibilities:

Primary responsibility is weighing trucks with the computerized scale system, tracking loads using various types of office equipment and acting as a contact point for customer issues. 


Essential functions:

  • Assist with customer communications
  • Maintain accruate PO numbers for customers.  Involves multiple fine grind customers and some aggregate customers.
  • Weigh inbound and outbound shipments
  • Keep management updates on employee and product issues
  • Keep administrative office updated on employee and product issues
  • Daily inspection of scales
  • Communication hub for CCL and quarry
  • Complete ticket audit and cash reconciliation at end of each day
  • Follow attendance policy, show up for work on time and ready to work assigned shift
  • Other duties as assigned




  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus one year office experience or equivalent training and experience
  • Quarry experience a plus
  • Ability to work in fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Experience with Microsoft products such as Office, Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
  • Great customer service and communication skills a must
Physical Requirements:
·       Requires the ability to sit for long periods of time, with frequent interruptions
·       Requires several hours per day of sitting, getting up and down from chairs, and reaching, bending, or carrying light loads
·       Requires manual dexterity with normal hand and finger movements for typical office work
·       Talking, hearing, and seeing are important elements of completing assigned tasks
·       Occasionally lifts, carries, positions, or moves objects weighing up to 50 pounds
·       Working environment is indoor and outdoor with extreme season weather exposure
·       Occasionally works overtime, evenings, or weekends in order to complete work or to attend meetings
