Primary Responsibility:

The 3PL Financial Analysis Manager provides financial analysis, reporting, and support to the General Managers, Operations Director, Finance Director, and other key contacts for the 3rd party managed sites (primarily Kroger Distribution centers).

Essential Functions:

• Hands on financial leader with responsibilities including:
• Supervise/Prepare weekly financial reporting for multiple sites. Ensure proper accounting and reporting of all expenses. Prepare weekly invoices; validate all incurred expenses are billable to the customer. Supervise completion of all customer reporting requirements. Provide insight to leaders on business performance
• Supervise/Prepare forward looking financial forecasts with supporting analysis
• Proactively analyze the business and make recommendations to leadership to help drive long term growth
• Period & month-end closing: Supervise calculation of necessary accruals on Americold’s ledger and the customer’s ledger. Ensure proper booking by the customer. Prepare and submit journal entries. Prepare P&L Statement and other key reports. Identify, analyze, track, and report the financial impact of unusual and extraordinary items that affect Americold’s fees for reconciliation with the customer
• Support various corporate departments through ad hoc reporting of financial performance, operational KPIs, operational metrics, and dashboards
• Lead the annual budget process. Coordinate input, consolidation, and reporting for all profit centers including comparison to prior year and other relevant analysis
• Prepare of presentations for senior management
• Oversight of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll activities. Ensure compliance with documented policies and procedures
• Lead and coordinate completion of all audit requests (internal and external). Ensure compliance with all S-Ox and audit requirements. Initiate and perform/supervise local audits of 3PL payroll and accounts payable, as needed
• Identify and implement process improvements opportunities
• Supervise administrative staff at multiple locations including training, coaching, and counseling. Provide regular feedback to team members and administer performance reviews


Qualifications & Experience:

• B.S. degree in Accounting or Finance
• Professional Experience: 5+ years accounting manager or related experience

Knowledge & Employment Standards:

• Good analytical skills – detail oriented and organized
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong computer / software skills
• Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc) required. Strong MS Excel required
• SAP, Oracle, and Hyperion preferred
• Outgoing and adaptable personality that embraces positive change
• Proactive self-starter with a strong sense of personal ownership
• Payroll Administration experience preferred; experience with ADP helpful
